Donald Trump Denies Reports of Replacing Susie Wiles
President Donald Trump dismissed reports that he is seeking to replace White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, calling the claims fake news.
President Donald Trump denied reports that he is seeking to replace White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, labeling a Politico report on the matter as "TOTAL FAKE NEWS." Trump defended Wiles as a trusted advisor and his longest serving Chief of Staff, stating she has his "COMPLETE confidence."
Politico reported that Trump has been soliciting advice from allies regarding potential replacements due to frustrations with weak polling numbers. The reports claimed Wiles has "burned a lot of people" within the administration and alleged that her daughter and associates have profited from foreign consulting work tied to Republika Srpska. Potential candidates for the role reportedly include Stephen Miller, Steve Witkoff, Bill Pulte, Randy Levine, and Kevin McCarthy.
Wiles, the first woman to serve as White House Chief of Staff and a former co-manager of Trump's 2024 campaign, recently announced she is cancer-free following a breast cancer diagnosis in March.
