Nvidia Invests $2 Billion in Marvell Technology
Nvidia invested $2 billion in Marvell Technology to integrate custom XPUs and networking equipment into its NVLink Fusion infrastructure.
Nvidia Inc. invested $2 billion in Marvell Technology in March to establish a strategic collaboration. The partnership focuses on integrating Marvell's custom XPUs and networking equipment into Nvidia's NVLink Fusion system.
Marvell Technology, a fabless designer of data center infrastructure, provides optical DSPs, Ethernet switching, and custom silicon to hyperscalers including Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Meta Platforms. The company reported record fiscal 2026 revenue of $8.2 billion, representing a 41% year-over-year increase. Its data center segment grew 46% to $6.1 billion.
During a public event in Taipei, Taiwan, in June, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang characterized Marvell as "the next trillion-dollar company."
