Speaking on Channels Television, the former governor of Cross River State argued that the current split between leading opposition figures Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi risks repeating the outcome of the 2023 election.
Duke attributed the failure to establish a common platform to the large egos of the aspirants. He compared the current political climate to the U.S. two-party system, suggesting that fragmenting the opposition vote ensures the ruling All Progressives Congress maintains power.
