Zelenskyy Fires Army Chief Syrskyi After Nationwide Protests

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on July 21, 2026, appointing Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi as the new army chief.
