NANS Passes Vote of Confidence in Tinubu and Umahi

The National Association of Nigerian Students endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister David Umahi after inspecting federal road projects in Cross River State.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister of Works David Umahi following a series of inspections of federal road projects. A delegation led by NANS Senate President Ibeabuchi Moses Onyia assessed several key infrastructure sites, including the Calabar Coastal Highway, the Alesi-Ugep section, and the Adikpo-Ajio-Teshe-Ada-Kyogen-Obudu Road along the Benue-Cross River axis.

Onyia praised the technical competence of the site crews and stated that the work met a commendable standard. The student organization endorsed the administration's infrastructure efforts, asserting that the completed roads would reduce travel time, connect border communities, and stimulate economic growth through trade and tourism.

Reports on the timing of the announcement varied, with some sources stating the decision was made on Friday and others reporting it occurred on Saturday.
