Olujuwon Obasanjo Joins PBat Movement to Support Tinubu Re-election

Olujuwon Obasanjo joined the PBat Door-to-Door Movement as Special Adviser on Political Affairs to mobilize support for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid.

Olujuwon Obasanjo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, joined the PBat Door-to-Door Movement as Special Adviser on Political Affairs on November 5, 2026. During a visit to the movement's headquarters in Abuja, Obasanjo pledged his support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Obasanjo cited improvements in salary payments, infrastructure development, and investment opportunities as evidence that the current administration's reforms should be sustained. A member of the All Progressives Congress since 2014, he noted that his family maintains independent political views. He highlighted that his father is politically opposed to President Tinubu and his sister, Iyabo, is seeking a senatorial seat under the opposition People’s Democratic Party.

The leadership of the PBat Door-to-Door Movement welcomed the appointment, stating that Obasanjo's experience in political mobilization will serve as an asset for their grassroots activities.
