During the forum, themed Bold Leadership, Bold Reforms: From Subsidy to Renewed Hope, former Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong acknowledged that these reforms have increased living and transportation costs for households. Lalong argued that these systemic issues had been postponed for years and urged the government to translate macroeconomic stability into shared prosperity through targeted investments in agriculture and infrastructure.
