Vietnam and Liberia Send Congratulations for China's 77th Anniversary

Leaders from Vietnam and Liberia issued official congratulatory messages to Xi Jinping and the government of the People's Republic of China to mark the nation's 77th founding anniversary on October 1, 2026.

In Vietnam, President Tô Lâm, Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng, and leaders of the Communist Party of Việt Nam praised China's national development. They affirmed that maintaining comprehensive cooperation and friendly neighborliness with China remains a strategic choice and a top priority in Vietnamese foreign policy. The leadership expressed a commitment to deepening the Việt Nam–China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to promote regional stability.

Separately, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. of Liberia sent a message through the Liberian Foreign Ministry reaffirming the strategic partnership and strong bonds between the two nations. Boakai expressed appreciation for China's support of Liberia's national development and stated his hope that the relationship would continue to grow to advance shared goals of peace and prosperity.
