Eight Nations Condemn Israeli Attacks in Gaza Strip

Foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt issued a joint statement condemning Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. The group denounced the targeting of civilians, healthcare facilities, and civilian infrastructure, describing these actions as grave violations of international law.

The ministers warned that the violence threatens to derail the political process and undermine the peace plan and road map proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, which Palestinian factions have reportedly accepted. The statement linked the Gaza attacks to settler violence in the Occupied West Bank and efforts to undermine a two-state solution.

Calling for international intervention, the eight nations urged the United Nations Security Council to compel Israel to fulfill its international obligations. They explicitly rejected any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians or establish Israeli sovereignty over occupied territories.
