LG Electronics and NVIDIA Partner to Develop Physical AI
LG Electronics and NVIDIA established a strategic partnership to integrate AI reasoning into autonomous agents and robot form factors using LG's global manufacturing infrastructure.
LG Electronics and NVIDIA have formed a strategic partnership to develop and expand the Physical AI ecosystem, aiming to integrate AI reasoning capabilities into real-world applications. The agreement follows a visit by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang to South Korea and subsequent discussions in the United States to establish a working framework for accelerating the deployment of autonomous agents and robot form factors.
LG Electronics will leverage its manufacturing expertise across 31 global facilities and a vast repository of real-world usage data from its ThinQ portfolio to help NVIDIA scale AI within physical environments. The collaboration focuses on exploring synergies in robot mass-production systems, AI data center cooling solutions, and the creation of a data factory utilizing NVIDIA's platform.
Under the leadership of LG Electronics CEO Jae-cheol Lyu and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, the two companies intend to combine LG's spatial expertise and industrial infrastructure with NVIDIA's AI chip and platform capabilities to create more capable physical AI systems.
