Howard Lutnick Promotes American AI Tech Stack at G20

During the G20 summit, Howard Lutnick advocated for the global adoption of the American AI tech stack, describing artificial intelligence as "education in the bottle." He argued that AI enables countries to harness the intelligence of the world's most capable individuals to stimulate entrepreneurship and economic growth.

Lutnick specifically addressed environmental skepticism regarding the infrastructure required for AI. He dismissed claims that data centers consume excessive amounts of water as "misinformation," asserting that modern facilities employ closed-circuit cooling systems. He claimed that "data centers don't use water" in the manner critics suggest.

He warned that communities rejecting this technology would lose out on significant advantages. Lutnick stated that those who embrace data centers would see improved local economics, enhanced power infrastructure, and increased tax revenues, noting that "if your community embraces data centers, you're going to have great economics."
