Larry O’Connor Claims Fake Polls Suppress Republican Voters
Political commentator Larry O’Connor accused the political establishment of using fabricated polling data as a propaganda weapon to suppress Republican voter enthusiasm.
Political commentator Larry O’Connor accused the media and political establishment of using fabricated polling data as a propaganda weapon to suppress Republican voter enthusiasm and divert campaign funding from winnable races. He argued that current polls showing a Democratic advantage are unreliable, citing discrepancies between firms and a lack of decline in support for Donald Trump.
O'Connor specifically alleged a coordinated campaign of fake polls in Texas designed to crush enthusiasm for Senate candidate Ken Paxton. He also pointed to previous fake polls in the Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial primary involving Francesca Hong, where data allegedly showed Hong winning by nearly 20 points.
Claiming that unreliable data has already diverted campaign cash away from key races in North Carolina, O'Connor urged Republican candidates and operatives to ignore polling data. He advised them to focus on get-out-the-vote operations and prioritize final arguments for voters, telling them to "Shut up about the polling and fight."
