Mike Johnson Predicts GOP House Win Despite Iran War

While Johnson maintains the military action was necessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, polls show approximately 60% of U.S. voters oppose the war. President Donald Trump has seen his approval rating drop to 33% as a result.

As active fighting has largely subsided, the Trump administration has transitioned to implementing crushing economic sanctions. However, Iran continues to defy U.S. efforts by maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz. Democrats are currently leveraging voter discontent to attempt to flip both the House and the Senate in the upcoming elections.
