Israeli Strikes Kill Six Palestinians Despite Gaza Ceasefire

Israeli military attacks killed six Palestinians and injured 37 others in the Gaza Strip, prompting Hamas to demand international intervention for ceasefire violations.

The Israeli military conducted attacks across the Gaza Strip over a 48-hour period ending July 25, 2026, killing six Palestinians and injuring 37 others. The strikes targeted industrial and residential buildings in the Jabalia refugee camp and the al-Yarmouk and al-Zaytoun neighborhoods of Gaza City.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the total death toll from Israeli operations has reached 73,317. According to ministry data, 1,191 Palestinians have been killed since a ceasefire was announced on October 10, 2025. ACLED data indicates that Israeli airstrikes rose to more than 40 in June, marking the highest monthly total since the ceasefire began.

Hamas condemned the recent strikes as a violation of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement. The movement called on the United States and other guarantor states to intervene and compel Israel to halt its military actions.
