Families Accuse Benjamin Netanyahu of Enabling October 7 Massacre

Families of Israelis killed or abducted during the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack have released a 12-page dossier accusing Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately enabling the massacre. The dossier and accompanying testimonies claim the prime minister ignored specific warnings, including a reported telephone call from Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed ten days before the attack. Netanyahu denies that this call took place. While he has expressed a willingness to establish a commission of inquiry into the events, critics argue he is resisting an independent judicial process in favor of a partisan commission composed of his own government members.

Parallel to these accusations, the rights group B'Tselem released a report accusing the Israeli government of conducting a project of elimination in the West Bank. These developments follow broader international pressure, including accusations from Amnesty International that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.
