Nscale Provides $3.5 Billion AI Capacity to Figure
Nscale contracted to provide at least $3.5 billion in AI cloud computing capacity to humanoid robotics startup Figure using Nvidia chips.
Nscale Global Holdings Limited entered a deal to provide at least $3.5 billion in AI cloud computing capacity to the humanoid robotics startup Figure. The agreement includes a potential scale-up to over $6 billion and establishes Nscale as Figure's preferred compute provider following an undisclosed investment in the startup.
Starting in the second half of 2027, Nscale will fulfill the contract using Nvidia Inc. chips at a facility in Barstow, Texas. Nvidia is an investor in both companies, and its CEO Jensen Huang stated the partnership has "activated the robotics flywheel."
The partnership coincides with Nscale's efforts to raise up to $3 billion through a U.S. initial public offering, which could occur as early as September.
