Defence Minister Christopher Musa Backs Tinubu and Sani Re-election

Minister of Defence Christopher Musa reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani during a meeting in Kaduna on Friday. Addressing local government coordinators of GCG Musawah 4 PBAT 2027, a political mobilization structure, Musa urged members to remain determined in their efforts to canvass support for the 2027 general elections.

Musa emphasized the necessity of national unity, religious tolerance, and collective commitment to nation-building. He cited his own childhood experiences in Sokoto as a basis for his support of peaceful coexistence, stating that there is no way he could object to any religion.

The engagement included coordinators from 23 local government areas and representatives from over 300 affiliated interest groups. The meeting aimed to strengthen grassroots support for the current administration within Kaduna State.
