Singapore Invites Nigerian President Tinubu to Strengthen Ties

Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the President of Singapore, invited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria to visit Singapore to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation. The invitation was delivered in New York by Singapore's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Burhan Gafoor, to Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim.

Ambassador Ibrahim expressed appreciation for the gesture and confirmed that President Tinubu would visit Singapore in the near future. Ibrahim noted that the invitation is driven by international interest in the economic reforms implemented by the Tinubu administration, particularly those concerning multilateralism and national development.
