Amit Shah Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Creating Parliamentary Paralysis
Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Rahul Gandhi of spreading anarchy and disrupting Parliament during a BJP rally in Karnal, Haryana.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi of creating parliamentary paralysis and spreading anarchy during a Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy foot march in Karnal, Haryana, on November 5, 2026. Shah criticized Gandhi for turning legislative disruptions and walkouts into a standard culture for the Congress party, asserting that Parliament should remain the supreme forum for debate.
These accusations follow a public challenge from Gandhi, who called for an open debate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Gautam Adani case, a US deal, and the national financial system. During the rally, Shah proposed a special session of Parliament to address the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, claiming the INDIA bloc is protecting infiltrators.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also addressed the rally, stating that the Congress party used falsehoods to spread misleading propaganda about the Election Commission's electoral roll revision. The confrontation follows a November 1 Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao protest by the INDIA bloc in Delhi, which demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
