APC Launches Nationwide Mobilization for Tinubu 2027 Re-election
The All Progressives Congress is coordinating grassroots rallies and strategic alliances in Lagos and Ekiti to secure President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election.
The All Progressives Congress has initiated a broad mobilization effort across Nigeria to secure the 2027 re-election of President Bola Tinubu. In Ekiti State, Vice President Kashim Shettima and National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda led a campaign rally in Ado-Ekiti on November 5, 2026. During the event, Governor Biodun Oyebanji pledged to deliver at least 90 percent of the state's votes for the president. The rally marked a significant political shift as governorship candidates from the Peoples Democratic Party, Social Democratic Party, and Allied Peoples Movement declared their support for the administration.
Party leaders at the rally highlighted federal achievements, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund and tax reforms that exempt small businesses with annual turnovers below N100 million. Nentawe Yilwatda described the atmosphere as electrifying and stated that the administration's policies are laying the foundation for a more prosperous Nigeria.
Simultaneously, in Lagos, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode met with political associates on November 4 to mobilize support for President Tinubu and the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat. Ambode's associates are organizing a grassroots gathering in Epe next week, targeting community development associations, artisans, and market women to strengthen party alliances ahead of the 2027 contest.
