Donald Trump Calls for New Ukrainian President to End War

Donald Trump called for Ukraine to install a new president, arguing that Volodymyr Zelenskyy has failed to reach a deal with Moscow to end the conflict. The former president's demand suggests that a change in leadership in Kyiv is necessary to facilitate a resolution to the war.

This position has drawn criticism from observers who noted a contradiction with Trump's previous assertions. He had previously claimed he could resolve the war within a few days of taking office, whereas his current stance places the burden of failure on the current Ukrainian administration.
