Israel Kills 4,000 October 7 Terrorists, Pursues Remaining 2,000
Major General Shlomi Binder informed the Security Cabinet that 4,000 of 6,000 October 7 infiltrators have been killed, with orders to hunt the remaining 2,000.
Major General Shlomi Binder, chief of the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate, informed Israel's Security Cabinet that security forces have eliminated approximately 4,000 of the 6,000 terrorists who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered security agencies to pursue the remaining 2,000 perpetrators without limitation.
In September alone, the IDF and Shin Bet eliminated 70 terrorists, including senior Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad commanders. Notable targets included Muhammad Jamal Mahmoud Abu Al-Shaar, who abducted six Israelis from Kibbutz Be’eri, and Saher Nidal Lutfi Saqr, the driver involved in the abduction of Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or. Other high-ranking casualties included brigade commanders Muhammad Yazouri, Nael Abu Obeid, and Izz al-Din Bikh.
Security officials warned that while Hamas's command structure is degraded, the group is stockpiling weapons and recruiting manpower to plan attacks around upcoming elections in Israel and the United States. Separately, officials reported that Hezbollah has lost 80% of its rocket potential and its strategic supply lines from Iran following the collapse of the Assad regime in Syria.
The cabinet also addressed the film "NAZA," which alleges war crimes by soldiers from Unit 8200. Benjamin Netanyahu demanded an investigation into the claims, while IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir discussed the legal tools available for such a probe.
