Trump Threatens Iran After Flydubai Attack and Hijacking Allegations

President Donald Trump warned Iran of severe retaliation following an attempted suicide attack on a flydubai flight, amid allegations that Israel orchestrated the event as a false flag.

President Donald Trump warned that Iran will be hit very hard if it is linked to an attempted suicide attack on a flydubai flight traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The incident occurred when an Omani co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain and attempted to crash the aircraft, causing it to plummet 17,000 feet over Jordan before passengers and crew neutralized the attacker. The plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu characterized the event as a terrorist attack, stating the suspect underwent "Islamist radical indoctrination." However, an informed source alleged that Netanyahu orchestrated the hijacking as a false-flag operation to provoke the United States into a war against Iran to repair his domestic political standing ahead of October elections. The UAE is currently leading an investigation into the attacker's intent.

In response to the escalating tensions, the United States deployed additional Patriot missile batteries to Saudi Arabia and Qatar and dispatched the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East. Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Ministry and the Supreme National Security Council condemned Netanyahu's presence in the region, warning of devastating blows if hostile actions occur.

Separately, Trump defended Netanyahu's political resilience amid reports that the Israeli leader ignored intelligence warnings from the UAE and Egypt prior to the October 7, 2023, attacks. Netanyahu's office has rejected these claims.
