Donald Trump Plans 10-State Swing Including Potential Maine Visit

President Donald Trump is planning a 10-state campaign swing to support midterm candidates, including potential stops in Maine and Montana.

President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he may add a campaign stop in Maine to his schedule ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. Speaking to reporters at the White House and before departing for Nebraska, Trump stated he thinks he will visit Maine, though he did not provide a specific date. The potential visit comes as incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins faces a challenge from Democrat Troy Jackson.

Trump is planning a broader 10-state swing to support candidates in traditional battlegrounds and Republican-leaning states. This itinerary may include a visit to Montana to boost Republican Aaron Flint in a closely watched race for the western congressional district. Trump also confirmed a scheduled trip to Michigan in approximately a week and a half.

While the president indicated a potential Maine visit, a spokesperson for Senator Collins stated her office is unaware of any plans. The White House deferred inquiries regarding formal travel to the Republican National Committee. During his remarks, Trump expressed a preference for in-person voting over mail-in ballots and dismissed polls suggesting a decline in his support among Latino voters.

Trump's current campaign schedule includes stops in Nebraska, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Ohio. His potential return to Montana would be his first since 2024.
