Trump Coordinates Global Tariffs and Military Strikes to Isolate Rivals

Donald Trump is executing a transactional foreign policy that pairs decisive military actions with aggressive economic measures. He has ordered military strikes against Iran and supported Israeli operations against Hamas, while strengthening the North Atlantic Treaty Organization through a commitment to Article V and increased allied defense spending. Simultaneously, the administration has used unilateral sanctions and tariffs against the European Union, Brazil, and India, a move cited as a factor pushing New Delhi toward an alliance of autocrats comprising China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
