Trump Surges Military Forces Amid Threats to Bomb Iran Infrastructure

President Donald Trump is surging special operations personnel, fighter jets, and long-range bombers toward the Middle East to expand U.S. military options against Iran. This buildup includes deploying B-1 bombers from Britain and moving F-16s and F-35s from Germany and England. Additionally, over 150 medical personnel have been sent to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany to prepare for potential casualties.

The escalation follows Iranian attacks that killed three American soldiers in Jordan and one in Iraq, alongside Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps strikes on military assets in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. Simultaneously, Iran-backed Houthi forces have blockaded Saudi ports and attacked two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. In response, U.S. Central Command has executed 12 consecutive days of strikes against Iranian military and logistical targets.

Trump warned that the U.S. will bomb Iranian bridges and power plants, including those in Tehran, if the Islamic Republic of Iran targets commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. He also renewed threats to strike Pickaxe Mountain, a suspected site for nuclear-enrichment centrifuges. While the White House maintains that the president has all options available, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that any aggression against Iranian infrastructure will compel a powerful and decisive response.
