Zelenskiy Restores US Missile Warnings and Sets Peace Terms
Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced the restoration of US ballistic missile warnings and Starshield internet services while rejecting neutrality in upcoming peace talks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced the full restoration of United States warnings regarding imminent Russian ballistic missile strikes following a period of disruption. He also confirmed that SpaceX's Starshield satellite internet services resumed full speed on Saturday morning after being throttled in early October due to diplomatic pressure from Washington.
These restorations followed a meeting in Oslo between Zelenskiy and US special envoy Steve Witkoff. The diplomatic engagement comes ahead of technical talks scheduled for November between Kyiv, Moscow, and Washington.
Zelenskiy established firm conditions for the upcoming negotiations, declaring that Ukraine will not accept enforced post-war neutrality or negotiate limits on its armed forces. He renewed his request for a US-brokered trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, asserting that the status of occupied Ukrainian territories is a "red line" that can be discussed exclusively at the level of leaders.
