Netanyahu Directs Security Agencies to Topple Iranian Regime

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the IDF and Mossad to topple the Iranian regime to prevent nuclear development and ensure long-term regional peace.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a formal directive to the Israel Defense Forces, the Mossad, and other security agencies to topple the Iranian regime. Speaking at Tel Hai University and an IDF graduation ceremony, Netanyahu asserted that removing the Iranian government is the only way to eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons and ensure peace with Lebanon. He noted that he has discussed this objective with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that the Iranian regime is currently at its weakest point, which may provoke it to take extreme measures or use proxies to influence upcoming Israeli elections. Katz stated that if Iran attacks Israel, "Iran will burn." He further threatened that any Hezbollah participation in such an attack would lead to the seizure of additional Lebanese territory in the Nabatieh and Litani regions, as well as the evacuation of the Dahieh suburb of Beirut.

Israel has already established a 700-square-kilometer security zone in Southern Lebanon, involving the demolition of 23,000 homes and the evacuation of 200,000 residents. Katz affirmed that Israel will not withdraw from security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza, where the IDF currently controls nearly 70% of the territory. Simultaneously, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir reaffirmed the military's commitment to eliminating all participants in the October 7th Massacre and called for national unity as the military integrates ultra-Orthodox personnel into service.
