US and Israel Prepare for Conflict with Iran

The United States and Israel are increasing military deployments and threats against Iran as diplomatic negotiations stall and regional tensions escalate.

The United States and Israel are preparing for a potential third round of conflict with Iran following the collapse of diplomatic negotiations. Donald Trump has threatened to deploy GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bombs against Iranian nuclear and energy infrastructure. Simultaneously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for the collapse of the Iranian regime to finish the job.

To support these threats, the U.S. has deployed a third aircraft carrier strike group led by the USS Theodore Roosevelt, increasing its regional personnel count to over 20,000. In response, Iran has conducted ballistic missile exercises and unveiled a new weapon described as the father of all bombs. Iranian officials, including National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei, have warned of zero red lines and threatened attacks on data centers, undersea cables, and Gulf energy facilities.

Regional instability has already escalated through Iranian attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and Houthi missile strikes in Saudi Arabia. These developments have prompted U.S. security advisories and the evacuation of some diplomatic family members from the region.
