Andy Burnham Outlines Regional Power Shift in First Commons Address

Prime Minister Andy Burnham addressed the House of Commons on Tuesday for the first time since taking office on July 20, outlining a vision to redistribute political and economic power from London to Britain's regions. To rebalance England's center of gravity, Burnham is establishing a power base called No 10 North and proposing greater public control over transportation, water, and energy.
