Ken Paxton Campaign Removes Conservative Influencer From San Antonio Rally
TikTok influencer Thelma Louise was escorted from a Ken Paxton campaign rally after being allegedly mistaken for a Democratic agitator.
Conservative TikTok influencer Thelma Louise was escorted out of a "Come and Take It" campaign rally for U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton in San Antonio on October 18. Louise, a former Trump Force captain and Black conservative content creator with 200,000 followers, reported that she was ordered to leave the event without an immediate explanation after driving two hours to attend.
Louise documented the incident in videos, stating she was told Paxton's campaign manager specifically wanted her removed. She later claimed she was informed that staff had mistaken her for a paid agitator supporting Democratic candidate James Talarico, though she expressed uncertainty regarding the accuracy of that claim. Louise characterized the removal as "beyond disrespect" and attributed the incident solely to the campaign manager rather than the Republican Party.
The campaign for Ken Paxton has not provided a public explanation for the ejection. Louise, who is seeking a public apology, is now scheduled to meet with Paxton to discuss the incident. The event occurred as Paxton campaigns for the U.S. Senate against Talarico ahead of the November 3 election.
