Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. disclosed receiving over $250,000 in gifts from a security consultant and other cabinet members in an amended ethics filing.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. disclosed receiving more than $250,000 in gifts from security consultant Gavin de Becker in an amended annual financial ethics filing. The gifts included roundtrip flights to Fiji and Greece and the use of a vacation home in Washington, D.C.
The filing also detailed gifts from other cabinet members, including a $900 private flight to Aspen provided by Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and WWE box seats from Education Secretary Linda McMahon. Kennedy reported receiving over $4 million in book advances from Skyhorse Publishing for his titles "Unsettled Science" and "A Defense for Israel."
Financial disclosures listed personal assets including real estate and bitcoin valued up to $25 million, alongside credit-card debt ranging from $125,000 to $265,000. A spokeswoman for Kennedy stated that he complies with all federal ethics rules and coordinated the disclosures with Department of Health and Human Services ethics officials.
