Xi Jinping Sends Two Giant Pandas to Zoo Atlanta

President Xi Jinping announced during a state visit to Washington on September 24, 2026, that China will send two giant pandas, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang, to Zoo Atlanta. The pandas will arrive within days from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding under a 10-year protection and research agreement.
