Jaishankar Unveils Book Honoring US-India Strategic Partnership

India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar unveiled a book titled 'We The People - 250 Voices that Shaped US-India Relationship' in New Delhi on July 25, 2026. Published by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, the work recognizes 250 professionals across various fields who contributed to the strengthening of bilateral ties. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor attended the launch event.

The celebration followed high-level diplomatic discussions on July 22 in Manila during the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting. Jaishankar met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss developments in the Indo-Pacific and West Asia. The two officials reviewed defense agreements established through commitments by President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They also reached an agreement on the urgency of finalizing a nearly complete interim bilateral trade deal.
