Eight Nations Condemn Israel's Rejection of Gaza Peace Roadmap

Foreign ministers from Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan issued a joint statement condemning Israel's rejection of a US-brokered roadmap. The plan, designed to implement a comprehensive strategy by President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza, was previously accepted by Palestinian factions and endorsed by UN Security Council Resolution 2803.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, rejected the 15-point document, stating that the Israeli military will not withdraw from the territory until Hamas is fully disarmed. The roadmap calls for the withdrawal of Israeli forces, the deployment of an International Stabilisation Force, and the transfer of administrative authority to the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.

The eight nations argued that Israel's refusal undermines collective peace efforts and threatens to derail the US-led process. They urged the United States to compel Israeli compliance and called on the Board of Peace to take concrete measures to uphold the integrity of the plan.
