The comments follow a Tuesday visit to Moscow by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who met with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Naryshkin.

While some media reports suggested Ratcliffe's trip was intended to warn the Kremlin against attacking NATO members, Trump disputed these accounts. He described the visit as standard business and semi-routine, noting that the two intelligence heads maintain a regular relationship.

These statements arrive amid heightened tensions in Europe. Reports indicate Russian hybrid attacks, including cyber threats and drone incursions into Poland and Romania. Simultaneously, the Russian Foreign Ministry threatened strikes on British military targets in retaliation for technology provided by the United Kingdom and France that enables long-range attacks inside Russia.
