JD Vance Launches Nationwide Midterm Campaign Blitz

Vice President JD Vance is campaigning across multiple states for Republican candidates using populist rhetoric and personal attacks against Democratic opponents ahead of the November 3 midterms.

Vice President JD Vance is conducting a nationwide campaign blitz to support Republican candidates ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. Traveling through Texas, North Carolina, Michigan, Montana, Kansas, and New York, Vance is employing a populist message that blends traditional political delivery with MAGA-aligned rhetoric. In Rome, New York, he campaigned for congressional candidates Anthony Constantino and Kailee Buller at Griffiss Air Force Base.

Vance has utilized sharp-edged personal attacks against Democratic opponents. In Texas, he targeted Senate nominee James Talarico over his views on masculinity and transgender children. In Michigan, he compared Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed to unrest in France, accusing him of lacking attachment to the United States. Vance also attributed the housing affordability crisis to unauthorized immigrants and questioned the use of translators in hospitals.

Beyond the campaign trail, Vance is leading a White House anti-fraud task force to root out malfeasance in social safety net programs such as Medicaid and SNAP. While promoting the administration, he attributed high gas prices to geopolitics and "tin pot" dictators, avoiding direct mention of the Iran War. Despite his efforts to establish himself as a successor to President Donald Trump for 2028, Trump has declined to name Vance as his heir apparent and has privately questioned the size of the crowds at Vance's rallies.
