House Democrats Plan Extensive Trump Oversight Agenda

House Democrats are drafting a comprehensive oversight agenda to investigate Donald Trump, his family, and his administration should they secure control of the House in the November midterm elections. The plan focuses on alleged systemic corruption, specifically targeting the growth of the Trump family wealth since January 2025, international business dealings, and reports that a Russian oligarch funded a wedding for Donald Trump Jr.

Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffries and Jamie Raskin have indicated that impeachment of the president and Cabinet officials remains a possibility. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is already facing impeachment articles from Republican Representative Thomas Massie regarding his management of the Pentagon and the Iran war.

Other committee priorities include investigations into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, and the demolition of the White House East wing.
