European Allies Distance Themselves From Trump Following Iran Conflict

President Donald Trump launched military attacks against Iran, targeting nuclear facilities and oil production sites. The conflict, which emerged following long-term pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, triggered global economic instability and disrupted energy markets. In response, Iran targeted an AI data center in the United Arab Emirates and utilized electronic warfare to disrupt Israeli F-35 operations, eventually transitioning its navigation systems to China's BeiDou-3 architecture.

While many European leaders initially endorsed the offensive, they have since shifted toward strategic autonomy as the war depleted air defenses intended for Ukraine and increased Russian oil revenues.
