Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to Washington on Monday following an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump. The visit focuses on coordinating joint U.S. and Israeli actions against Iran, particularly as reports surface of renewed diplomatic contacts between Washington and Tehran.

During the visit, Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Trump and senior administration officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He aims to secure renewed coordination on security interests and address Israeli concerns. Simultaneously, Netanyahu informed his Security Cabinet that he intends to reject any U.S. pressure to withdraw Israeli forces from territories in the Gaza Strip, Syria, and Lebanon.

President Donald Trump confirmed that the U.S. is currently talking to Iran, stating that while he prefers a diplomatic alternative, the U.S. remains prepared to intensify the war.
