Melania Trump Expands Education Coalition as Donald Trump Threatens Iran

First Lady Melania Trump expanded her Fostering the Future Together coalition during the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York City on September 22, 2026. The initiative aims to increase children's access to education technology and improve online safety. During the assembly, she also launched Imperia, a women's leadership summit, and claimed to maintain direct channels with Russia and Ukraine to help reunite displaced children with their families.

Simultaneously, President Donald Trump used the assembly to threaten to "annihilate the Islamic Republic" of Iran and called for the country's "complete economic isolation."
