Trump Considers Massive Attack on Iran After Retaliatory Strikes

President Donald Trump is considering a large-scale military strike against Iran following Iranian attacks on U.S. infrastructure in Kuwait and Jordan.

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he is considering a massive attack against Iran, describing the potential operation as bigger than ever before and larger than the previous Operation Epic Fury. Trump stated he is close to a final decision and, while noting that Israel would likely join quickly if requested, emphasized that the United States does not require external assistance to launch the strike.

These developments follow retaliatory strikes by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Army against American military infrastructure in Kuwait and Jordan, specifically targeting drone facilities and air defense systems. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio characterized Trump's current policy as a head for an eye, warning that Iran will pay a very heavy price for its actions while claiming the Iranian economy is a disaster.

In response to the escalating tensions, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz held a security consultation with senior officials and the IDF Chief of Staff. Katz warned that any Iranian attack on Israel would result in a crushing blow, stating that Israel is preparing for every possibility based on intelligence reports suggesting Iran may initiate further military action.
