Trump and Iran Engage Intensive Talks to End War

President Donald Trump and Iranian officials are conducting intensive indirect negotiations via Qatar and Pakistan to end an eight-month war involving the United States and Israel.

President Donald Trump and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi are engaged in intensive indirect negotiations to end an eight-month war involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. The talks are being facilitated by mediators from Qatar and Pakistan to prevent further escalation of the conflict.

Trump warned that the conflict will end soon and that Iran must reach a deal or face military escalation. In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has granted the government additional authority to pursue these negotiations. While Foreign Minister Araghchi described the current deliberations as intensive, he indicated that Tehran remains prepared for continued military confrontation.

Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref claimed that indirect communications with Washington signal an acknowledgment of Iran's victory, asserting that the United States failed to achieve its objectives in recent conflicts. The United States continues to engage in these diplomatic maneuvers through intermediaries as both sides seek a resolution to the regional war.
