Kremlin Discusses Trilateral Ukraine Meeting With Donald Trump

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump discussed a potential trilateral meeting regarding Ukraine during a recent phone call. While Peskov stated that such a meeting could occur in the near future, he noted that no specific organizational details have been finalized.

Parallel to these diplomatic talks, Russian special presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev is maintaining contact with US negotiators to explore economic cooperation. Peskov characterized the current state of economic ties between the two nations as lacking.

In a separate development, the Kremlin condemned European Union sanctions imposed on Ksenia Fedorova, the former Editor-in-Chief of RT France. Peskov described the sanctions as blatant pressure on the media and an attempt to suppress dissent.
