Trump Vows to Stop Iran Nuclear Program Amid Shipping Attacks

President Donald Trump declared during a July 22, 2026, rally in Georgia that the United States will prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Trump claimed that the U.S. and Venezuela together control approximately 62% of the global oil market, rendering the U.S. independent of the Strait of Hormuz, though he noted that military operations in the region would continue.
